Frequently Asked Questions

Do You Pay Before Or After Therapy?

All payments are due at the time of services. In the event you do not show up for an appointment or cancel within 24 hours you will be charged a non-refundable fee or no-show/late cancellation fee. You will be required to pay for your therapy services. Insurance is billed after your session.

How Often Should You See A Therapist?

Your mental health services will vary based on a number of factors including affordability, the severity of your mental health symptoms, and availability for example. We recommend seeing your therapist on a monthly basis at a minimum and weekly at a maximum. When you work with one of our therapists, we will discuss your care plan including the frequency of seeing your counselor or therapist.

How Much Does A Therapist Cost In Virginia?

In the state of Virginia, therapy services can range from $100+ depending on a number of factors. However, at Inspired to Grow counseling and therapy our services begin at $65 which can potentially be covered or reduced by insurance.

 

We accept Tricare, Sentara Health Plans (Commercial and Medicaid), Aetna BetterHealth, Aetna, United Healthcare, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Anthem Healthkeepers, and Cigna.

How Long Should I Work With My Mental Health Provider or Practice?

Our clients typically seek our therapy services and work with their mental health provider or counselor for an average of 6 months or more. When you work with us, we encourage you to obtain therapy until you’re confident enough and equipped to manage your mental health daily.
